Cosmic Con; ITS NOT JUST ANOTHER CON… ITS AN EXPERIENCE! ™

We take that promise seriously. Each year, we center the con on a different theme. The theme for Cosmic Con 2025 was BATTLING HATE, celebrating comic books as tools of personal expression and social reform, from their earliest days to today.

The keynote panel, “Battling Hate,” featured industry giants Ann NocentiRags MoralesDanny FingerothAlisa KwitneyJoseph Illidge and Keith Williams, moderated by CNN’s Roy Schwartz.

The panel focused on the personal experiences of these renowned veterans, and examined comics’ history, from Superman and Captain America fighting Hitler, through eight decades of stories mixing action-adventure with morality, to the challenge of continuing this legacy in today’s corporate-owned publishers.

The panel was packed, standing room only, and received a great amount of press coverage (see links below). The recording is available here. [Link to come]

Cosmic Con 2025 also featured an exclusive Battling Hate comic book, with a special posthumous story by legendary artist Neal Adams and historian Dr. Rafael Medoff; lost 1944 story of the first Muslim superhero, Kismet, by Omar Tahan, AKA Ruth Roche; introduction by showrunner Albert Fuzailof; essay by pop culture historian Roy Schwartz; and art by Sean Carlson and Daniella Shapiro.
