Alexandra Bowman
Alexandra Bowman is an award-winning political cartoonist, illustrator, and costume designer based in NYC. She currently draws for the newsletter Counterpoint, and served as the official political cartoonist for the political action committee The Lincoln Project during the 2020 election. This year, she was named the inaugural winner of the Association of American Editorial Cartoonists' (AAEC) Locher Fellowship for excellence in editorial cartooning. In December 2024, she signed with Cagle Cartoons, America's largest newspaper syndicate for editorial cartoons. 
A piece of Alex's work and an accompanying timelapse, as well as interview material, were featured at the top of a recent POLITICO piece about how "the nation's top political cartoonists" draw Kamala Harris. Alex has exhibited at comic conventions and pop culture events around the country, including the Cartoon Crossroads Columbus (where she was a Special Guest in 2024), the Small Press Expo,  the ARTFactory's Super Con, Big Apple Comic Con, Big Lick Comic Con, and the National Cartoonists Society table at New York Comic Con (NYCC). Alex has also exhibited at Awesome Con, one of the largest fan events on the East Coast, for the last four years.
Alex is also an award-winning costume designer, creating work centered around Cats the Musical-inspired designs that have won Judge's Choice and craftsmanship awards at numerous conventions across the East Coast, and is a 2025 BroadwayCon Affiliate.
